List of alliances

Hi folks,

This is Naira from La Vieja Escuela [LvE* .

Disclaimer: I understand this is not a recruitment thread, but I haven't found a better place to contact the PvP alliance community as a whole. This post could also be considered an application to EW's alliance which I guess makes a little more sense. At any rate, just delete it if you think it doesn't belong here, and feel free to point us to a more suitable place if you know one.

We are a Spanish competitive, GvG-centric guild. We've had reasonable success in the past few months, easily making it into top 100 and settling on the third page. However, making further progress is becoming more and more difficult, not to mention crossing the chasm into tier 1 (which seems to be top 20 or so).

We think one of the main reasons for this slow-down is the fact that so far we've worked in isolation. That's why we're now looking to enter a high-end PvP alliance.

It's pretty obvious that playing with people at or above your level is one of the best ways to improve your skills. That said, I would like to focus on what we have to offer to such guilds:

- A good challenge when playing a bit below their best (say trying out an applicant, testing a build, swapping roles, etc.) - Presence in the Euro timezone - Occasional guesting (somewhat limited since not all of us can speak English fluently) - Enrichment from a different culture (you know they say Spain is different!) - For those with the spirit, the satisfaction of contributing to the overall advancement (and the long-term health) of GW's PvP

Lastly, a few quick facts about us:

Roster: currently 12 people, ages 17-32. The 2 most well-known players are probably Chiwy and Mihilea (who's taking a break from the game at the moment though) Background: most members come from the 2 arguably most successful Spanish PvP guilds: CdH and sMw Ladder history: 7x GWWC regular season, 39 "fun season", 59 GWFC 1, 55 GWFC 2 Usual playtime: week days 9pm-1am CET, anytime during weekends

Naira I think its a great idea to have people who are looking for an alliance to post here. I will try to keep the list up to date with alliances that are actively recruiting.
