Add new builds
Guild Wars
Hehe, I thought it would be pretty stupid to start a new thread to tell you that I have posted a new Assassin/Monk build which I find pretty neat, please give me feedback as I play the build myself and would like your ideas on how to improve it.

That looks like a build with huge energy useage to me. Personally I prefer keeping critical strikes a lot higher, as this is your main source of energy.
Remember healing circle also heals all people adjacent to you, including enemies. As a melee character you would probably end up healing the people you're trying to do damage to :)
I would suggest sticking to the tried and tested Golden Phoenix > Ox > Twisting/Falling Spider or the Unsuspecting > Wild Strike > Critical Strike attack chain. From there on add an elite depending on what kind of role you will be taking for PVE or PVP.
ahh so it heals enemies to, i thought creatures sounded suspicious, changed a bit on the build, to bad there aren't any stronger heal self monk skills, and hots doesn't help against elementalists and the better warriors, though I won't take that much damage since I have flashing blades and vigorous spirit, counted on the first chain which encompass skills 1-6 in a row and it fits on one full batch of energy and heals me 120 health deals +150 damage, if max daggers then minimum 200 dmg right? That is quite a bit and I should be able to land a few crits as well, though it won't take long until I can unleash skills 4,5,(5),6 again.
I don't want to change to ox as that is for single enemies, I want to handle small groups. And twisting is expensive 10 energy and deals dot dmg which I feel is quite unsafe. The high energy cost is a big issue but it gets better with plus energy daggers, and you are supposed to wear lengthen enchantment daggers to make sure you don't have to redo the vigorous spirit. Flashing blades last for a whopping 20 secs and that should be enough to kill just about anything.
Ohh and changed to a cheap, quick heal...
I thought on changing purge conditions to essance bond (another monk no attribute)... that would help energy issues and cover my other enchantment vigorous spirit...

Essence bond triggers on a hit and you've got flashing blades to stop getting it, so not a good combo.
I guess you're heading to a more PVE orientated build. This will definitely not do well in a PVP/GVG environment.
Yeah I guess it is more PvE oriented... and about essance bond; stupid me *slaps face* guess I was quite sleepy when I thought of it, wrote it during self studie time in school (very pointless when you are done with everything that needs to be done, and they have blocked all ports except 80 and a few for email and other boring things)...
I studied alot on energy and damage when it comes to assassins and have made some adjustments to my build, this way it will certainly not suffer from lack of energy and it will deal more dmg.
Okey I calculated a bit, the crit chance should be above 33% as well as the chance to double strike which means I will do some serious damage without skills, about 18 dmg per attack... That means about 200 dmg for the entire chain avrage..
Well Purge conditions could be changed for something to deal more dmg, like desperate strike, or an enchantment like critical eye to gain more energy... What do you think would be best for PvE?
Hmm, came up with another way of doing it, without flashing blades and with essance bond... ["http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/guildwars/build-2356.html" http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/guildwars/build-2356.html] Any comments on that build?
Should be better on energy management but not as protected, but it deals more damage... about 290 damage for the entire chain avarage, not to bad...
Maybe death blossom should be changed for critical strikes, lowering dmg by about 10 but making the attack chain insanely fast recharging and energy effiecent, but then the healing touch should be replaced by critical eye so that i gain 4 points of energy in every crit... would give me health issues but if there's a good monk there with me then I will slaugther them soooo damn hard... Comments?
I'm more for experimenting, I don't care which build is the best or what chain of combos gives the most damage/energy, I want to create something new and surprising. It's alot more fun to enter a match with a totally unexpected build and win because of the element of surprise than sticking to what's best and polish gaming skill. But I want my build to be as efficent as possible without sticking to a tested recipie
Whoaaa alot of editing on this post hope it makes sense, have redone it like 10 times, started on it at 23.00 and ended 02.30... quite the edit mania...
Hey all.
I have a nice build idea, but it doen't work well enough yet. It's all about vampiric spirit and some low cost/cast/recharge spells to spam over 100 dmg each sec and heal yourself for 53 each sec. But the enemy still has enough time to heal or be healed (which couses me to spam what I want till I run out of energy without killing) and i have problems with runners becouse i have to be quite close for vampiric spirit to work.
see it for yourselves and any idea's for improvement are welcome:D
