Hi there  :)

i have recently started a knockdown warrior with hammer. I now face a choice however and i'm not sure which way to go. I have both "backbreaker" and "dwarven battle stance". What i would like to know is this...which skill should i take?

backbreaker knocks down for 4 sec., but dwarven van keep interupting for 9 seconds (at my current attribute points).

any advice would be greatly appreciated  :D

i think backbreaker is better, but kinda depends the rest of urs skills and if the build is for pve or pvp

i'd go with devestating hammer for pvp, backbreaker loads up way too slow imo, so one blackout mesmer can ruin you completely.

never used dwarven battle stance, it's a useless elite imo

cool  :) thanx for the replies.

this is for pvp yea. i have tested them myself in TA as well and have indeed found that dwarven is very unreliable in terms of interupting.

i do like devestaing hammer as well.....some really nice combos there  :)

suppose i'll try it in the arenas this weekend  :p i just recently discovered the joy of knockdown...i can just c the monk sitting there grinding her teeth  :p

Well if its just knockdown you're after this build is very popular:

Hi there,

Im also in the same guild as the OP. :)

Just a quick question regarding the Build Nick linked to in the above post:

1) How important is the self healing skill (Heal Sig) in this build if we are running 2 monks in GvG? Is it viable to replace Heal Sig with say, Lacerating Chop?

Depends on the rest of the group's make up. If you don't have a lot of healing/protection power or don't plan on having it go run solo for a bit, then you could take it out.

I wouldn't take in laceration for it, I'd use either bul's strike or disrupting blow. Bul's strike is a lot of damage when it goes off as when a target is moving it will always result in a critical hit.

Wow! Thanks for the nice idea Nick! We will try to run that ASAP :p

Another question:

Is it worth it to run a Bunny Thumper after the last couple of updates?

Why wouldn't it still be viable?

just be a little more carefull with your pet, but thumpers still work :)

as far as bull's strike go, i always take it with me if i have room for it, it's a great utility skill, and after a while you'll be able to predict when your target will start kiting, so you can use it and knock him down easely
